Protecting Children in Sport: We have teamed up with The Boxing School of Great Britain to deliver this introductory course for individuals who have safeguarding responsibilities towards children in sport, including volunteers, employed staff, and those with regular contact with children within a sporting or community environment.

This course simplifies the complexities of child protection and provides comprehensive information for people who are new to working with children or those who wish to gain a better understanding of protecting children. Although it is heavily based around sport it covers everything you need to know if working with children. The course is aimed more at sports coaches.

The Ghosts of Childhood Trauma & Abuse: This training provides a profound exploration of childhood abuse and trauma, framed by the harrowing stories of a Forgotten Boy and Rachel. The Forgotten Boys’ narrative reveals the enduring consequences of institutional abuse, including struggles with addiction, PTSD, systemic neglect and abuse within the Borstal system. Rachel’s story highlights the tragic outcomes of inadequate support systems, culminating in her death—a stark reminder of the devastating impact of failed interventions.

By engaging with these powerful accounts, you will gain a deeper understanding of how childhood trauma shapes adult lives and learn how to implement effective, trauma-informed care. This event is essential for professionals seeking to enhance their ability to support those profoundly affected by childhood abuse.
