The Inside Out Project
Delivered by The Forgotten Boys
The Inside Out Project is a trauma-informed mental health pilot for men, funded by the Allen Lane Foundation and run in partnership with the Salvation Army.
It is currently being delivered in York and offers free, confidential talking therapy to men who find mainstream services hard to access, especially those carrying abuse, trauma, addiction, or homelessness.
Support is provided by men with lived experience, through one-to-one sessions by phone or video, alongside monthly in-person workshops.
Referral is simple: men can self-refer, or be referred through the Salvation Army or directly via The Forgotten Boys
